Sri Malayappa Swamy Blesses Devotees on Sarvabhoopala Vahanam in Venugopala Swamy Alankaram

Tirumala, October 15, 2026: As part of Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams, Sri Malayappa Swamy appeared before devotees on the Sarvabhoopala Vahanam in Venugopala Swamy Alankaram, accompanied by Rukmini and Satyabhama, on Thursday evening. The Lord blessed devotees while majestically proceeding along the four Mada Streets from 7 PM to 9 PM.

Grand Procession with Devotional Chants and Auspicious Music

With elephants leading the procession, the Vahana Seva took place amid devotional wood-stick Bhajans by devotee groups, the Jeeyangars' Goshti, and auspicious musical performances. Devotees offered camphor harati at every step and sought the Lord's blessings while chanting “Govinda, Govinda!”

Spiritual Significance of Sarvabhoopala Vahanam

Sarvabhoopala means “all kings.” The eight guardians of the directions — Indra, Agni, Yama, Nirriti, Varuna, Vayu, Kubera, and Parameswara — represent the divine powers that protect the worlds. The unique feature of this Vahana Seva is that these guardians serve the Lord by carrying Him on their shoulders.

The Sarvabhoopala Vahanam conveys the message that rulers should govern their people righteously and work for the welfare of the world with the blessings of the Lord.

Upcoming Vahana Sevas
